Well, I really do not know how to start with this blog as I was not sure if I could pen down all the emotions and feelings that have been shared by our customers. I hope I do justice to all the stories and experiences.
Being in the customer support team and speaking with the customers every day, you get to know your customers better. You get insights which help you understand their pain points, their needs, and their journey with Zizira.
I came across many stories and some stayed with me so here I am sharing all the wonderful customer review stories.
Customer Review:
The first story which I want to share is of our loyal customer, Ankit Kamalia. In 2018 Ankit’s father was diagnosed with Colorectal cancer. He then decided to buy only the best quality food right from spices to oil. He decided to try Lakadong turmeric and after trying the turmeric he decided to share his story. Here is his story:
“I was in search of a good quality turmeric from a long time that was free from adulteration, had a decent percentage of Curcumin and is organic. In 2018, my father was diagnosed with Colorectal cancer. I had decided then and there that henceforth I would buy only the best quality food items that were available right from cold pressed oil, spices, and other edibles and it showed me results also. After undergoing the rigorous treatment for an entire year, my father is now fine and doing well. I came across Zizira through Amazon and was impressed by all the information available on their website. So, I thought why not give their turmeric a try. I was well aware that farmers in North East India use natural, organic means of cultivation and at the same time, I had the realisation that people there were not getting enough encouragement and market visibility. So, when I came to know about Zizira, I decided to go with it and ordered their turmeric. I was very impressed with the product. Its aroma, colour and taste were simply amazing. I feel that the price is on the higher side, but then I believe that the product is free from any type of adulteration and does have the curcumin content that is claimed. My sole purpose of buying this turmeric was to assist the post-operative and post chemo recovery of my father and I believe it helped in a very strong way in restoring his immunity and overall health. I would like to suggest them to everyone. Zizira is doing an awesome job by toiling to bring authentic products from remote terrains of Meghalaya so we should encourage them. I believe the farmers there are getting their fair bit. The turmeric quality is awesome and if you are looking for good quality medicinal turmeric, then go for it!”

The next customer delight story is of Michael Lapi. He is such an amazing person. I always enjoy every conversation I have with him. He is a regular buyer of Zizira’s Pure Wildflower Honey. Here is what he has to say:

I always felt a special love for honey, the way nature prepares it no other food can claim, so I used to try all kinds of honey but somehow I was not very sure of the purity of your honey but when I tasted your Raw honey, I immediately remembered the taste I had in my childhood which were directly taken from beehive by village people ,there is some unique taste that I can't describe,

I had a nice conversation with one of our customers Jhumur Chatterjee. Here is how our conversation went and it was such a pleasure to hear her journey with Zizira.
What was your absolute biggest reason for purchasing a product from Zizira?
To try and find something pure; it was purely a gamble and I'm glad it paid off.
How did you feel about purchasing product from farmers of Meghalaya?
A sense of satisfaction that I'm able to, in a small way, help out these people who need our help as they try to eke out a living in a most respectable manner.
How did your level of trust change after you received our product?
It has only strengthened after the purchase that I can perhaps rely on you to replenish my depleted stocks of kitchen spices.

“As per my knowledge, I think Meghalaya is famous for harvesting. The percentage of Curcumin in Lakadong Chyrmit was sent in white and black, when asked for it, I felt it was genuine and hence ordered it!
I wanted to really buy after reading the reviews of Zizira! The facts and the REAL displays as it is, when asked about the product was explained patiently. Meghalaya farmers 👨🌾 👩🌾 are working hard with manual labour, no chemicals added to their produce other than natural manure I was told!
Felt it was easy to consume because I have tried other Curcumin products. I personally felt this Lakadong Chyrmit was a good product and easy to consume - mixi it by just adding pepper to it and pour boiling hot water into the mug, with little ghee-(optional) and it’s ready to drink. I felt it was yellow magic, an instant yellow soup!
I had a slight issue with my knee, but after taking the product, there was improvement. The pain subsided since Curcumin acts as an anti-inflammatory agent, anti-biotic and it also helps in overall immunity development! I have nothing extra to say, other than the real Lakadong Chyrmit which contains 10 to 12% of Curcumin in it. I like to thank the team for being kind to share the tested Curcumin certificate! In fact, I have ordered 6 bottles for my relatives since it really helped as anti-inflammatory!

“When I discovered Lakadong Chyrmit Turmeric more than a year ago I thought I had chanced upon the BMW of turmeric especially as it boasted of a totally farmer friendly and a whopping 9 % of Curcumin (till then I used to think 5 was the gold standard ). That all changed when I chanced upon a new product from Zizira - Chyrmit which had 12+ % of Curcumin making it the Ferrrari of Turmeric. At the same time, it retained that wonderful “sweet” (not really bitter) taste (unike other high Curcumin turmeric products I have tried in the past). Final Thoughts
A company will always have good and bad reviews, I think what matters is how transparent the company is towards its customers. Sharing all these amazing stories only makes me happy knowing that Zizira is making a difference not only in the life of our farmers but also our customers.
